Since the very beginning, the existence of the Alabama District has been predicated on the premise that we are a soul winning, discipling, fellowship of believers. We believe that every believer has the responsibility to go, send, and pray.
As one person put it, you have three choices: go, send, or disobey. One of our AG missionaries, Dick Brogden, said, “And if your church is not regularly sacrificially giving to support missionaries around the world, you are not, in spirit, Assemblies of God. Call yourself whatever you want. But you cannot in truth be part of this fellowship if your budget does not prioritize the mission of God in the uttermost places of the earth.” He went on to apply this to the individual believer.
The first priority of our department is to promote and support our missionaries.
Promote & Support our Missionaries
We have World Missionaries that serve in seven regions and US Missionaries that serve across America. Our missionaries are dependent on the financial giving of our churches and individuals. Please help us in supporting them monthly through faith promises. It has been proven that God blesses those who are generous towards missions and missionaries. There is a link listed below that will take you to our Alabama Missionary Profiles where you will discover more about our missionaries. There are some who are not listed because they serve in sensitive areas. Please call our office if there is someone that you do not see. There is also a document that you can download with a complete list of all of our Itinerating Missionaries and their contact information as well.
Secondly, we are also here to assist our churches in promoting missions through hosting missions conventions, special services, and missions trips.

If we can come along side you to accomplish your missions goals, please contact us. Brother Strahan is available to preach and/or assist you. Our itinerating missionaries are also available for services, ten minute windows, or coffee. They would love to have the opportunity to share with you what God is doing around the world.
